Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Help Desk Support professional to join our technical support team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of experience providing IT support, especially in web hosting, cPanel, domains, and email-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer queries via ticketing system, live chat, email, and phone regarding:
Web hosting setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
Domain registration and DNS management
Email setup, configuration (POP/IMAP), and deliverability issues
SSL installation and renewal
cPanel and WHM operations
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Linux-based shared hosting environments
Guide customers through basic technical processes in a clear, non-technical manner
Monitor uptime, server health, and escalate issues as needed
Document and update knowledge base with common fixes and user guides
Collaborate with senior support engineers and developers to resolve complex cases
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and technical excellence
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1–5 years of experience in IT Help Desk, Technical Support, or Web Hosting support
Strong understanding of web hosting, domain management, and DNS concepts
Hands-on experience with cPanel, WHM, FTP, SSL, and email configurations
Familiarity with ticketing systems like WHMCS, Freshdesk, or Zendesk
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):
Certifications in ITIL, CompTIA A+, Linux+, or equivalent
Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms
Understanding of basic scripting or command line usage (Linux)
Work Environment:
Pune-based office with occasional remote support responsibilities
Rotational shifts may be applicable, including weekends or holidays based on workload
